this is some art i did for a college class, the theme i wanted to express was the parallel between insect metamorphosis and shaping your own body to be how you want it to be as part of transition. additionally i use the insect theme a lot because i heavily relate to being perceived by society at large as disgusting and both reveling in being monstrous and actually having beauty that transcends the "standard" human experience, feels very trans to me
